I started at WEHS in seventh grade but moved to Northern NJ in my Junior year. I didn't "graduate" with all of you, but in my heart, have always considered myself part of the WEHS class of '68. I have lived in Arizona for the last 22 years. I have two amazing children and two delicious grandsons (ages one and three). I'm honored to be a part of your reunion committee. Looking forward to seeing all of you.
Nadine

I have been happily married for 35 years and have three beautiful sons!  No grandchildren....yet!  We live just north of Scranton, PA and my husband and I will hopefully make the 'reunion gala' and enjoy seeing everyone again!  Many thanks again to George and his wonderful wife, Jan, for making this all possible!  A huge thanks to Nadine as well for all her help.

Have 2 boys-oldest just married.  Also 0ne daughter; just returned from stint in Africa with needy children.  Left brokerage job 10 years ago to join colleages to build hedge fund firm.  Do a lot of travel.  Still play golf.  Still keep in close touch with Chuck Voelker who I am proud to say followed his father's footsteps by recently becoming the Cheif of Police in Fairfield.

I am a semi retired stay at home house husband at present.  May go back to work this spring if my company needs me.  But only part-time.  I have lived in SW Virginia for the past 30 years.  My wife and I live in a very small town in the country.  Only 1 traffic light in the whole county, at the main intersection. I can't believe 40 years has gone by so fast.  Hope to see every one at the reunion,  bless everyone.

Life's been great! For 35 years I've been married to my best friend, my husband Mark. We have two wonderful children, Brian and Katie. For the past 24 years we have lived in Wayne, NJ. We enjoy traveling; most recently we visited our daughter in Australia!  The reunion sounds like it will be fun.

I'm looking forward to reconnecting with everyone at the reunion and the weekend-long gatherings should make this possible.
Wouldn't it be great if the jazz band could bring their instruments and play some tunes for us?
I heard Mr. Spears was invited to a 40th reunion recently and they had a great time.

In 1965 my family moved from West Orange to N. Caldwell  so when I arrived at West Essex I didn't know anyone! After high school I went to the Univ. of Missouri where I graduated in Biology and later, in 1984, in Chemical Engineering. I  got a job in Oregon where I still live. My wife and I decided to retire in 2006 and we now do a lot of traveling.

After graduation I went to school in Ohio and then got my first job in Georgia. We loved 4 years in coastal GA but missed the chance of snow. So we moved to VA and have been here for more than 30 years. With the youngest just starting college we are looking forward in 3 short years to retirement.

Wow! Stumbled across the website totally by accident (or was it?) and devoured every word and picture with great interest and enthusiasm. Never had any desire to reconnect with college, but as friends might tell you, I think about West Essex a lot and have always been curious as to what became of everyone - everyone who I imagine as still carrying on at West Essex every day, exuberant and ageless (as in my mind I remember and last saw them), while I have traveled far and long into different worlds and experiences empowered at times by six years spent there with all. My truth is that I don't know what 40 years is supposed to feel like except that it's been full making West Essex seem as another world, another universe - "the" very special one, an absolute jewel, that I miss - and am so glad and so privileged to have been there for "our" time of it. Endless condolences to the families and friends of those who have gone along their way... Sending sincere wishes for peace, health, and success to all with love, always - Namaste, Jeff PS Great kudos to the committee for their grand endeavors...
